I'm Minas — the owner of Amira House, a traditional stone holiday home in the village of Sykia, on the Sithonia peninsula of Halkidiki, Greece.
I've lived in Halkidiki year-round for the past 5 years. The guides on this site aren't written from a desk or copied from brochures — they come from actually living here: knowing which beach is quiet on an August afternoon, which taverna stays open in winter, and how long it really takes to get from the airport.
I write in Greek, English, German, Serbian and Romanian so that every guest can plan their trip in their own language.
